Behind the Design: TITAN Series Chest-Supported Row
Nothing signals strength in the gym like a broad, powerful back. Building serious back strength and mass takes real dedication, consistent effort, progressive overload, and attention to form. And what better way to build a thick, broad back than with rows?
Seated machines and free weights force your lower back and core to stabilize, which means your lats, traps, and rhomboids aren’t as engaged as they could be. Not to mention your lower back can fatigue long before your upper back does, limiting how long and how heavy you can lift.
Enter the chest-supported row. If your lower back starts waving the white flag while your upper back still has fuel in the tank, or you find yourself cheating reps, adding chest support to your rows will have you hitting your next PR with perfect form.
But not all chest-supported rows are equal. Here’s a look behind how we designed the TITAN Series Chest-Supported Row with unmatched adaptability and rock-solid design for harder-hitting back sessions.

Our focus was simple: build a row machine with unshakeable stability, biomechanics that work with you, and design that adapts to every user. Every design choice was made to maximize muscle engagement, protect your joints, and support lifters of all sizes through intense back day routines.
Adaptability for Every User
We think your row should adjust to your body, not the other way around. Because everyone is built differently, it was a priority for us to design a row that’s dynamic down to the details.
Adaptable Handle Mount – Customized Down to the Details
We set out to design the most adaptable chest-supported row we could, going with an adaptive handle mount that moves with your natural rowing motion.
This automatic adjustment means you’re not fighting awkward angles and allows taller users to fully extend and retract limbs while preventing users on the shorter side from overreaching. This is critical for effective rows because limited or excessive range of motion reduces muscle engagement, so your back muscles aren’t firing as effectively.

Pivoting, Adjustable Handles – Smooth, Comfortable Pulls at Any Angle
We knew that handle design would be a big part of what set the TITAN Series row apart. Locking your wrists into an unnatural grip puts strain on your wrists and reduces the impact of your rows.
To solve this, we designed the handles to rotate 360° and pivot side to side for a natural or bar grip—and every angle in between. Not only does this take the stress off your wrists, it also allows for grip variation to target different back muscles and forces your back to do the brunt of the work instead of letting your arms compensate.
We also included laser index markers and spring-loaded locking pins for quick width adjustments and even more control over muscle isolation.

Adjustable J-Hook - Customized Start & Stop Points
We wanted our machine to match every user’s natural range of motion, so making the j-hook height-adjustable was an easy choice. Being able to set your own start and stop point also makes docking and undocking the lever arm easier.

Spring-Loaded Footplate - Built for Every User
A footplate may seem like an afterthought on a chest-supported row, but it actually has a huge impact on user experience, especially when you need reliable stability under heavy load.
Not only does the TITAN Series Chest-Supported Row have a non-slip footplate with toe stops for easy mounting, it also adjusts for user height with a spring-loaded setup for controlled height changes—no slamming, no heavy effort. With adjustments covering users from 4'-11" to 6'-6" in 2" increments, every lifter can quickly find their ideal position.

Rock-Solid Stability
From the start, we knew the TITAN Series Chest-Supported Row had to withstand commercial abuse while still fitting seamlessly into home gyms. The result: stability, strength, and consistent performance, whether you’re training in your garage or running a packed weight room.
Commercial-Grade Quality - Built Like a Beast
At the end of the day, we set out with one goal: to create a row that can handle your toughest workouts and won’t budge during intense sessions—and that starts with rugged, reinforced steel construction built to handle heavy loads and repeated, high-intensity use. This is especially important with machines that need to stay solid under a lot of weight, like the TITAN Series Chest-Supported Row.

Biomechanics That Work with You
From day one we knew we wanted to build a machine that works with the body's natural path, not against it. A lot of chest-supported rows can lock you into unnatural positions, fail to adjust to different users, and limit movement (and therefore gains.) That’s why we set out to design a row that moves with you, not against you—without the awkward angles and one-size-fits-all design.
Adjustable Chest Pad – Lift Longer, Heavier, Safer
When designing the chest pad, our goal was simple: take the strain off the lower back and pressure off the stabilizers so lifters can put all their energy toward building their upper back, and to keep them comfortable while doing it.
One of the main complaints we hear from customers about seated rows and free weight rows is that their lower back gives out before their upper back does, cutting sets short before their upper back has reached its limit.
That’s why we went with a high-density chest pad for reliable support through tough sets. With the machine doing all the support work, all your effort goes toward building a bigger upper back and you can lift heavier loads without straining your lower back.

Extra-Long Lever Arm – More Muscle Engagement with Every Rep
With support covered, we turned to tension. One of our biggest aims with this machine was making sure it could support maximum muscle engagement.
A lot of chest-supported rows have a shorter lever arm that forces your movement into a shorter, unnatural arc. Not only is this uncomfortable, it also takes tension off the lats mid-rep, making your rows less effective.
We knew including a longer lever arm on the TITAN Series Chest-Supported Row was non-negotiable. By having a long, natural arc, your muscles stay engaged longer throughout the movement, so every rep counts.

Universal Joint – Made to Protect Your Joints
It was important to us to create a row that protects the joints through the whole movement. Some chest-supported rows lock you into unnatural movement and put stress on your joints with designs that can’t accommodate different heights or ranges of motion.
By using a universal joint to connect the lever arm to the frame, this design allows for the lever arm to shift side-to-side to follow the natural path of your movement. This puts less stress on your joints and makes for a safer, more comfortable lifting experience.

Broader Back, Better Performance
Every choice that went into designing the TITAN Series Chest-Supported Row—from the universal joint to the adjustable handles—came down to one thing: giving lifters a smarter, more effective way to row.
